ShopSMART is a short, practical workshop that helps you make sense of food labels so you can feel more confident choosing foods that support your diabetes, your health and your everyday life.

- how to use ingredients lists to compare products
- how to make sense of the numbers in the nutrition information panel

​​​Who is this program suitable for?

Primarily for all people living with  diabetes. 

Where are the workshops held?

Workshops are held throughout the Perth metropolitan and rural areas throughout WA. Currently we are only offering face-to-face workshops.


Can I attend without a registration?

You must have a confirmed pre-booking, including your support person if you wish to bring someone along. Waitlist registrations are not considered a confirmed booking.

​​Can I bring a support person?

Yes, a support person is welcome to attend. Please ensure that they are registered to attend the workshop.

Do I need to be registered with the NDSS?

No, NDSS registration is not required.


What is the cost? 

All of our SMARTS workshops are free to attend for you and your support person.
